Angel Peak Campground

Strictly primitive camping is available here, no reservations, first-come, first-serve, no permits. This campground is part of the larger Angel Peak Scenic Area. Road 7175 will take you past three picnic areas before arriving at the campground.

This road is firmly packed, but will get more bumpy and rocky after you get past the first picnic area. Otherwise, the road into the campground is still suitable for 2WD, just go it slow.

Inside the campground, there are several nature trails lined with rocks that take you to viewing areas with benches. If you do have 4WD, you can drive along the many BLM roads and trails and explore the area. Dispersed camping is allowed all throughout this area.
