Camping at Belmont Campground
Adjacent to the historic town of Belmont. this campground is a short distance to Barley Creek and Cottonwood Creek trailheads that accesses Table Mountain Wilderness. It’s also near Pine Creek Trailhead that accesses Alta Toquima Wilderness.
Surrounded by Pinyon Pine and a cropping of boulders, it provides a scenic aesthetic while camping just minutes from the tiny town of Belmont. The town itself offers no amenities, and it’s only attractions are a pioneer cemetery and the ruins of its downtown. Otherwise, all supplies and fuel is a 45-mile drive south to the City of Tonopah.
Nearly the entire route from Tonopah to Belmont Campground is paved except for the final 3/4 mile to the campground.
