Carl Park

While there are no signs addressing camping, it remains a popular place for RVs and tent campers to spend a few days. We’re told by others that there is a maximum three (3) day limit. There are no campsites, just picnic tables and a large dirt lot. It’s large enough for full-sized RVs to make an easy turn-around.

The nearby Tres Palacios RV Park offers laundry facilities if you need them. We’re not sure if they will allow you to dump your tanks and refill your water for a fee, but you could ask.

In our experience, the park seems to be in “decent” shape. It’s not that crowded here, just local fishermen for the most part. At night it tends to be quiet.
