Catfish Creek is a free, recreation area, managed by South Florida Water Management District. Dispersed camping is allowed here. It's primarily popular with hikers and horseback riders, and is a great location for kayaks, canoes, and airboats. Much of the dry ground can get soggy during rains and turns into a marsh.
