Packingham Campsite is a free, developed campground offered by South Florida Water Management District. It's one of five campsites located within the KICCO Wildlife Management Area (WMA). This particular campsite is small, suitable only for cars, vans, and pickups, and only just a few at that. Trailers under 20ft long "may" be okay, it's just that there isn't much turn-around.
Packingham Campsite was established many years ago as old camping area for feral hog hunters. While hunting is still a popular sport in this area of KICCO (pronounced KISS-oh), the campsite is largely associated with recreational camping.
Camping at all facilities operated by South Florida Water Management District requires a Special Use License which is free. You can get one online here.
