Indianola Beach Park

While there are a total of 12 covered picnic tables, it does not mean there are only 12 campsites. You can camp on the dirt area south of the covered picnic tables as well as north of the residences. That being said, there’s plenty of room for a couple dozen campsites.

Indianola Beach Park makes for a great overflow area for the more popular Magnolia Beach Park about a mile north. Though Indianola still gets crowded during the weekend.

Despite the run-down appearance of the residences across the street, in our experience the facilities at Indianola Beach Park are in pretty good shape. Yes, there is some trash on the ground, but not so much as to make this campground unusable.
