Camping at Spring Creek Campground

Smaller and less cared for than the other two free, developed campgrounds, Skipout Campground and Black Kettle Campground, within Grassland, Spring Creek Campground does offer a camping experience with fewer people to contend with. It’s gets local families on the weekend looking for picnics and fishing, but as long as you arrive during mid-week, you can enjoy some relative peace.

The grassy area is full of stickers, so be prepared to pull them out of your dog’s paws and your slippers.

On the other side of the lake there is a dispersed camping area designated by the Grassland, see “Spring Creek Dispersed Campground”.
