Camping at Sycamore Flat Campground

An Interagency Pass (buy one online) or Forest Adventure Pass (see list of retail outlets) is required to camp here.

Sycamore Flat Campground offers a much easier access for campers looking to enjoy swimming in Big Rock Creek (on the other side of the road) than compared to nearby Southfork Campground. With room for larger rigs, it’s a better option for those with trailers and motorhomes.

During the warmer months, this campground gets full and becomes difficult to find an open site. Your best bet is to arrive between Monday through Thursday.

Sycamore Flat Campground is located 24 miles to Palmdale, CA, and just 17 miles to Wrightwood.
