Boondocking in Tennessee!
Boondocking in Tennessee is mostly found within Cherokee National Forest in the eastern part of the state and Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area in the western half. There are no BLM lands in Tennessee. The Army Corps of Engineers offers some free campgrounds at its reservoirs. There is also free camping at some of the state’s wildlife management areas.
